Aquilombamento on stage: weaving psychodramatic possibilities in light of an ancestral technology

This article proposes a reflection on anti-racist practices in group processes in psychodrama, dialoguing with the concept of aquilombamento as a technology of care in collective mental health. It starts with the recognition of racism as an agent of psychological, relational and social illness, and the appreciation of therapeutic and socionomic strategies that strengthen bonds, build support networks and promote community cohesion. A qualitative, theoretical-experiential and essayistic approach was adopted, anchored in the narrative of a sociodrama conducted in 2024, articulating theory and practice. The proposal also reinforces psychodrama's ethical commitment to active listening and the deconstruction of colonial epistemologies, articulating anti-racist alliances between black and white people, presenting interventions that intertwine identities, affection and collective care.
