The group reconstruction of black identity: an experience report
Keywords:
Social identity, Anti-racism;, Psychodrama, Social vulnerabilityAbstract
This study presents an experience report with a thematic group that focused on questioning the constructions of racial identities through an anti-racist perspective. The group activities targeted black and brown women in situations of social vulnerability living in a occupation, in the city of Aracaju, Brazil. This work uses the works of Jacob Levy Moreno and Alberto Guerreiro Ramos as reference tools for decolonizing identity construction. Finally, the contributions of Psychodrama and Experimental Black Theater (TEN) in group psychotherapy and anti-racist practices with community impacts are highlighted.
